Nat geo officially closed down the yourshot site and moved onto instagram. To me it was a short almost one year experience interacting and learning from professionals in the field of photography on a near daily basis helping me see more..and in making great friends! It was a unique platform where I could bring together my interests in music, writing, sense of color, observation, and sometimes humor. A close knit community of that stature most doubted can be replicated, and I could understand the sense of loss for those who had been on the site for decades. But per law of nature, change is the one constant we must all prepare for. My dear very techie brother painstakingly saved of my profile page which is below (takes a bit to cache and load up/desktop mode). My biggest learning through the experience was how humble one could be with the wealth of knowledge and skill; and how freely it could be imparted. It was one amazing experience I'd always cherish!
